Beginning JULY 1, 2020 - 

Guided tour includes a walk through the museum exhibits and buildings before joining living history interpreters to discover what tasks those garrisoning the fort may have been assigned. The tour continues with a short talk about the French and Indian War and the part Fort William Henry played as the British outpost protecting the colonies to the south.  Guests will be introduced to the Brown Bess Musket, the weapon of choice at the fort, including a loading the firing demonstration.  This will be followed by a talk at the 6 lb cannon to include loading and firing the gun.  Guests will have the opportunity for questions and take photos of the lake from the vantage point on the north wall before returning to the tour starting point.   Tour time: approx. 90 minutes plus Q&A
