Our new walking tours will allow guests the opportunity to see the landscape that played a crucial part in the history of Fort William Henry!
Choose one of the following tours::
British Tour: guests will leave the fort to the east and walk along the lake shore as their guide points out landmarks and historic sites from the British perspective. Learn about the entrenched camp, Lake George Battlefield park and the sunken fleet. Return to the fort along Westbrook.
French Tour: guests will walk north/west to areas that highlight where Montcalm landed his troop, location of his batteries and headquarters and view the terrain of the battlefield and why the British were forced to surrender.
Tour time: approx. 45-50 minutes.

Tours begin at:
British: 9:30, 11:15, 1:30 and 3:15 pm
French 10:30 am, 12:15, 2:30 and 4:15 pm
Other options available: History and Military demonstration. Purchase a combination fort and a walking tour for 20% off the individual ticket price.
Note: Instructions to print your ticket will be sent by email after purchase. You may also show the purchase on your phone to our admissions desk so that you do not have to print out a paper ticket.
